Utah
Kite Boarding (UKB) is a PASA
certified kiteboarding school.
That means we have been trained and
certified to instruct kiteboarding lessons,
kitesurfing lessons,
and snowkiting lessons. Utah Kiteboarding
follows strict guidelines from PASA as to the methods and safety of
teaching kite boarding lessons, kite surfing lessons and snow
kiting lessons.
We offer wave runner support
for your safety and to help our instructors to teach you more
efficiently. Our instructors are right behind you in the
water
during your lesson, not yelling at you
from the
beach. We teach kiteboarding lessons on a
large
sandy beach with flat, shallow water. We
teach most of our classes on a
secluded beach on the south end of
Utah Lake approximately 30 minutes from Salt Lake City.

based on weather conditions.
The
Spring/Summer season runs from May 1'st thru October 31'st. The
Fall/Winter
season runs from December 1'st thru April 30'th. The Spring/Summer
season
kiteboarding classes include ground school and water school. The
Fall/Winter season
kiteboarding classes teach ground school and kite snowboarding and
kite skiing we also refer to this as
snow kiting. All classes are limited in size. Discounts
on kiteboarding lessons are offered at our events and free
kiteboarding clinics. Sign up at an event

instructor will teach you everything A-Z.
The
complete Beginner Training consists of
both part I
& II - Ground School (Part I) and On
the Snow
Training (Part II). You'll start with all

basics of flying the power traction kite
in our
Ground School and then you will finish out
your
training actually getting your first rides
on the
snow.
The
price for each class includes all kite
equipment
rentals. You will need to bring your own
Ski's or
Snowboard. Ski or Snowboard Rentals are
available
from Park's Sports at a discounted rate
for
students.
Now
make sure and bundle up to get ready for a
day
ripping across the snow. This class will
teach you
all of the basic riding skills and will
get you
started snow kiting or kite skiing on the
snow.

Now it gets more intense. You've got the basics but you need
instruction in specific areas. How to go upwind, jumping,
gybing and
transitions, etc... These classes are to help you improve
your
skills on the board and help you enjoy kiteboarding at a new
level.
Beginner

UKB supervised kiteboard
rentals
include all the kiteboarding gear you need (except for skis or
snowboard) and one of our instructors will be on
site to help with launching, landing, and any problems you may
have. Our wave runners will be there to help if you get into
trouble
or if you get caught too far out on a wind shift. All
supervised
kite rentals are on approved beginner beaches or snow kiting areas
only. The kiteboard rental is for a
full day - kiteboard as much as you want, take a break and go back
out for
more. This is a great way for you to get some practice time
in on
our kite gear before you decide to buy your own.
Kiteboarding rentals are limited to
students with completed PASA Level 1 Kiteboarding Certification or
